OUR MISSION

Primavera is a land-based Earth conscious ecumenical Center--a church of the living Christ.  It is a place of spiritual, educational, and cultural pioneering for the common good.  Hospitality, worship and prayer, service, love, education, and presence are nourished through a life lived in relationship so that all of life can go into the future as a single sacred community.  Kinship and links are established between local churches, other communities of faith, community organizations, and conservation partners both locally and in Central America.

THE GOALS
  • live from a quiet, centered inner space and in harmony with Earth
  • heighten awareness in churches that God has commissioned sustainable and regenerative stewardship
  • teach the inseparable link between the Christian story and the Universe story
  • build up the community by providing sacred space and time
  • provide hospitality for people of differing faiths
  • link persons on margins of society with nature and with other people
  • link people of faith with one another, community organizations, and other Earth partners
  • link with sister and brother conservation partners in Guatemala and Honduras
  • open to mutually called explorers in intentional community
